I have a spigen case and it connects well. It depends on the case.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Good question, that would really depend on the case. I use an Apple Leather case. Those have the bottom completely open. I know other cases wrap around the bottom so it would depend on a case to case basis.

Please try again later.Probably you can keep the case but to me I take it off cuz it fits better cuz it comes with a security clip to get between the mic and your phone you don’t have to use it but if you will be recording something where your phone is moving a lot I will say take the case off
