No it will not because there is a groove specifically for the joy sticks and it's a pretty perfect fit.

Possibly, as the pouch holds it rather tight and any added pressure could strain the sticks.

I have not had a problem. It’s the a little flimsy but seems to do fine in my backpack on trips

Because this is a soft case, the sticks aren’t as well protected as harder shell cases. But no one can say if it could cause drifting issues.

It is a slim case, so there's more chance of the sticks getting moved while in transit. However, the padding is pretty thick and it offers good protection for a soft case. I wouldn't be too worried about it, unless it's in the bottom of a bag with a bunch of stuff sitting on top of it.

No unless you unless you constantly forcefully pushing in the outer case and it safe in a book bag

Read my review on this I’d advise against buying this case it’s too tight and barely zips closed.
