Not really. The dots showing signal strength are quite arbitrary and too granular to show a 1.5x performance increase. A 1.5 times increase in signal is a 1.76 dB increase in decibels (10*log10(1.5)). To see this you need to enable the field test mode (just do a search on this to do that). Then the phone shows dBm (decibel milliwatts). -112 is weak, -92 is good, and -82 is great. Then you need to go to several locations and measure power with and without the Reach antenna on. I did this and found it difficult to observe any increase. Truth be told, 2 dB is still a bit too fine to measure. I found the phone only showed 3 dB changes, which is 2x.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Even though Reach Antenna is always improving your signal strength, you will not often see an increase in bars in every situation. Your bars are highly dependent on your local signal conditions, for example, how far you are from the nearest cell tower. The “scale” of the bars may not show increases in reception that fall between one “bar” indicator and the next. Also, performance may vary based on case type, carrier and environmental factors (weather, network congestion etc…) as you move through your day. It is also important to know that we designed Reach Antenna to be used (1) with a case and (2) also when held in a hand or up against a head. Independent testing has shown improvement of up to 1.5x in LTE signal strength when using Reach Antenna. We created a video documenting our testing and in the video you will see live data with improved performance in real life situations, as tested by independent third party labs. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You may or may not see more bars, but download a speed checking app and it will tell you how much it has improved. Run the app before and after putting it on
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not necessarily, but I noticed that I didn't drop calls in areas that I usually do. I also noticed that it increased my battery life, which for an iPhone, is beneficial.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I did see more bars with the Reach Antenna
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I didn't have any additional bars.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NO!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did not--I just posted a review to that effect. It is hard to determine if it improves call quality while not adding bars to your signal strength.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not likely.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did not see a difference while using the antenna with my phone
