Yes works perfectly with t.v. I like the remote better than the original one that came with the t.v.

I bought the Insignia Model Remote Control and it's exactly like the one that came with the T.V. The reason I bought it was because I needed to change a setup function on the television and none of the remotes I had bought did the function. Once the package came, I was surprised it comes with batteries and it's packed in a way that will not brake (Thank Goodness). I recommend it for the Insignia Television. However, I DO NOT Recommend the universal remotes because you need the original remote for functions universal remotes do not have. I hope this helps. Take care and God Bless, Mrs. Duke
