A:AnswerYou'd want to double check with your local Autotech to make sure that they can do the work on your specific vehicle, and to confirm what parts are needed. Please head over to http://bby.me/teppe to set up a free consultation to discuss this in person.

A:AnswerFor anyone trying to do this currently, I’d say the answer is no. I bought a viper system for my 08 mustang gt from bestbuy since I was told they couldn’t install the new viper system I already had because it wasn’t purchased through them. They still refused to install it since my car was a manual. I’ve seen a few videos where people have had them installed by bestbuy with the safety for the shifter and all and I bought all the extra parts they were going to need but they still said no. Didn’t look like they even tried since I dropped the car off and was called about 10 minutes later and the car never moved. Don’t know if that was just my experience but they just flat out said they couldn’t do it since the car might go into gear while it’s running and take off. I’d say the explanation they gave me goes for all manual vehicles since that’s cause for concern in every manual transmission, they never brought up anything about the saftey for the shifter and when I brought it up they still said no.
A:AnswerThe total cost and parts needed can vary depending on the trim and options of your focus. Please head over to http://bby.me/teppe to schedule a free consultation with an Autotech at your local Best Buy. That can go over the total costs after checking your vehicle out.
A:AnswerThe Compustar 4900S kit is a fantastic value when it's on sale for less than $300 (it will be, regularly), Compustar CS920-S kit is cheapest when it's on sale (remotes are pretty cheap but get the job done), Compustar RS1B-AL is a higher end control unit from Compustar but only comes with one remote and shouldn't really be considered over the first two unless you have a manual transmission or if this is cheaper, and Viper DS4VB is a great option as well with built-in bluetooth for short range control from your phone. All of these are great options that are reliable and whose remotes can always be upgraded down the line if you ever need longer range.
A:AnswerYes and there are many options available. However, I would advise speaking to your local Autotech and work with them to select the best option for your use cases.
