“I Can't remove the water filter from my Samsung Side-by-side fridge. My fridge is about a year old and the filter light just changed to purple. I bought a replacement filter, but I can't remove the old filter. Turning the filter left, in the "unlocked" direction, the filter turns about 20 degrees and stops. Even when I apply a lot of torque, the entire housing flexes like it is going to break but the filter won't budge. Jiggling, pushing up and pulling down as I turn have no effect. Should it turn that hard? Is it possible the first filter was mis-installed at delivery? Recommendation?”
