I had almost no problem installing mine. I did have to make a hook in some heavy gauged wire to pull it through from the trunk (Rear Camera). The only cable showing is a short piece that I had to keep out from behind the inside trim because I wasn't gonna mess with the air bag back there. 
The door trim(Rubber) came off with just a slight pull and then ran the cable under the roof panel and door trim plates. 
With a little thinking you'll be able to get it wired up. It only took about an hour for me.
