“Can the motion sensor be mounted onto the wall using screws? If not, does Ring sell a mounting bracket that can be screwed onto the wall for the motion sensor? I read quite a few reviews on Amazon of people complaining about the mounting tape wearing off”

Yes, you can mount with screws, but they are not provided. The portion that adheres to the wall has holes for mounting screws. You will just have to buy them separately at Home Depot or a hardware store.

Mounting tape can be found on the back of the detector. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry before peeling the backing off of the adhesive strip.
