“Is this system capable to detect and call in to fire department if smoke or fire is detected”

I bought the smoke/carbon monoxide detector from Ring that ties into the security system and Ring will notify the fire dept. if there is smoke or fire. I do have the monthly professional monitoring from Ring that provides this as part of that service. I’m not sure if you have to have their detector though for this to work...I would call their customer service to check for sure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You would need a first alert smoke detector that links to Ring. The alarm system doesnt contact police or fire. It contacts the alarm company who in turn calls you first. If no answer, then they call police or fire.
