You want to set the motion detector at least 6-8 feet off the ground, I have not figured out what the range of motion distance yet is either tho
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The field of view is 90 degrees, 45 to each side of the detector. While Ring recommends mounting to corners they supply no corner mounting hardware so I mounted to a flat wall with no issues whatsoever. The battery info should be available from Ring.
