Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a Floodlight Cam connected to our Wi-Fi. It needs regular household power, 120 VAC, 60 Hz, to work. The video, sound and remote control will require a Wi-Fi network that has an adequate signal where the Ring device will be installed.

If on a switch (like for an existing flood light being replaced), then the switch must be ON for the unit to work. The camera must connect to your WiFi network to send video/audio back to Ring servers or your phone on the WiFi. When I installed the doorbell, it had a hard time keeping a connection with my stock router from the cable company.
