“With this product being hard wired is there a backup battery with this product incase the power goes out?”

• The system does not have a backup battery. After a one hour power shortage on my street I’m thing of getting a solar powered spot camera to add to my security

• No, there is no back up battery for this unit. It is hardwired into the receptacle for an exterior light fixture. I would recommend getting a generator as a back up for your home.
