Yes, as long as your phone has internet you will get alerts.  It installs easily as any other light fixture.

Yes, you can get Ring Alerts from your doorbell when someone presses the button on it and motion alerts from your doorbell and/or security cameras when motion is detected no matter where you are. To ensure all notifications go through, you'll need to be connected to wifi and have your mobile device settings set to allow notifications from Ring. The Ring Floodlight Cam Plus must be installed on a 4“ round UL listed weatherproof electrical box. Installation by a qualified electrician may be required in your area. I went to Singapore and got notices and was able to watch
