“Can you use the flood light camera as just a flood light- meaning turn the light on and off with hardwire switch. For example, taking the dogs out at night, or hanging out on the patio and want to use the flood lights without the motion detection?”

Hi blmnp. Thanks for asking. If you would like to manually turn the lights on or off and override the motion detection settings, you can do so through the Ring app. The light toggle for your device is located on your device dashboard in the Ring app, above the Motion Alerts toggle. Toggle this control to manually turn the floodlights on (blue) and off (white). We invite you to reach out to our Community if any additional information is needed regarding your question.
