“Will I need a wi-fi connection for the camera or can it be wired directly to the internet switch? Are the LED light bulbs replaceable? Can the alarm sound be inactivated so that only the lights will come on when there is motion? thanks”

You need wifi. Not sure. And yes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You do need WiFi. Using the app you configure it. It’s been two years, bulbs are still working. The alarm is turned on manually. It doesn’t go off on its own.

The audible alarm only goes off if you select siren on your phone app or your system is connected to the Ring security system. I have never activated mine. I believe it might wake the neighbors.
