• it entirely depends upon the strength of your wifi. without a wifi signal, this product won't be of much use.

• The camera should work as long as there is wifi signal. If your phone loses wifi where you are standing then your camera won’t connect. It’s sounds like you are limited in how far your wifi reaches.
