“How would I know if I have the wifi connection needed? I have ATT secured wifi but there are times that my wifi switches to the xfinity unsecured server will this effect the Ring Floodlight Cam?”

The ring system hs to be provided the login information to the router providing access. If the router is unchanged and the router is just picking which server to talk to, in my mind, it will not affect ring connectivity. Things that must remain the same: 1. The router 2. Router login username 3. Router login password
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your ATT wifi should be fine. The ring flood light will stay on the wifi you configure it to. If it doesnt know the xfinity exists it wont switch. When you say your wifi switches what switches your phone? Any network wifi will stay connected to onlh the networks you configure it to. If a network device jumps to one that is unsecure or one you dont want it to theb remove that network. In this case remove the unsecure xfinity connection network from that device.
