I have two flood lights. The second is soffit mounted under the gutter above my garage. There is no difference between the images from the cameras based on the way they are mounted. The person who installed the one upside down (basically), used a second waterproof box to make sure the camera cleared the gutter. There were no additional tricks. There are videos online where folks are encouraged to alter the ball that allows the camera to move. However, there were no physical alterations to the camera for my home and it works fine.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I mounted two of them under the eaves. I don't think the manufacturer recommends it that way, but I was able to adjust the camera and lights so they get good coverage.
