Can I plug the ring floodlight camera in to a outlet null

No, although I suppose you could rig it to do so as it uses a black,white, and ground bare wire for connection. Out of the box though, this would not work.

Hi Camera, Thanks for reaching out. In order to support its robust array of features, Floodlight Cam needs to be hardwired into a standard junction box. As Floodlight Cam requires a junction box as well as wiring up live wires, it's highly recommended you hire a licensed electrician to install Floodlight Cam.
