• Yes, you can turn the notifications off.

• Yes. If you are using an iPhone, jsut go to your settings-then notifications-then choose the off positon for the "Allow notifications" button. Not sure about Android, but Iam sure there is a similar setting. You can also choose a silent alert in the Ring app.
