- Answer As long as you have the password to authenticate to the wifi you should be good to go since that’s all is need it in the setup process from the ring all which is fairly simple.

- Answer Probably nothing, your windows are going to block most of the sound. Instead invest in a Ring Outdoor cam. if you've no power there, get the wireless version and get the Ring Pro Solar panel to power it. I have 2 of them setup and I installed 2 batteries in each of them, with the solar panels facing south (I'm Georgia) the batteries are also up at 98 to 100% charge all the time. I little costly but it works and you will get the sound you want.

QuestionIf we have a security system that is NOT Ring but we want to add 1 indoor camera, can we use this as a stand alone? Do we have a plan or can we just buy the camera so we can view when we would like?

- Answer You can use with no plan needed. When you purchase a camera ring offers you a 30 day free trial which is pretty much recording your videos...but other than that you can still get notifications (motions detected) and watch live whenever you want but no recording. I have one for indoor and only use it when my kids too quiet and probably up to no good hahaha (with no plan). I Hope i was helpful to your question... Do beware that lately their systems are down from time to time.

QuestionIf internet goes off, will the camera resync if you are not around. I have another product & when the internet goes out, it doesn't resync itself unless I am there to do it.

QuestionDoes this cam communicate to Amazon Echo Show? It doesn't say it it is compatible with Alexa. But other ring products are. Is it also compatible to view on your windows computer?
