Not sure. I have WiFi with an extender and My connection is still spotty. It all depends on distance from the router. I would contact Ring to answer your question.

This is strictly my opinion and not an official answer.I believe it would work If your cell phone With unlimited internet access specifically has Unlimted data on a “personal hotspot”. This would allow your phone to provide WiFi to your home. Check with your wireless phone carrier to confirm.
