Does it need electricity or does it run on solar? null

It has one battery included and an option to add a second one, as well as a solar kit, which recharged the batteries well. That said, I’m returning the unit, as it doesn’t stay connected on the WiFi well enough to do live view and is spotty on recording motion. By this I mean it triggers the motion, but records only black screen video.

This unit comes with one rechargeable battery. It can hold two and the extra sells for $29.99. I’d recommend picking up the second one or buying the optional solar add on.
