A:AnswerHello Sunny,
Great question! The Ring Spotlight Camera Battery is a battery-powered HD camera with two-way talk and spotlights, for security anywhere you need. It has a 160-degree horizontal motion detection angle and a 140-degree field of view. The two bright LED light strips turn on when motion is detected and are ideal for monitoring walkways or sidewalks near your townhouse. The light is approximately 300 lumens of brightness.

A:AnswerHello Postal,
Great question! The LED lights in the Spotlight Camera Battery are not replaceable. The two bright LED light strips are rated to last thousands of hours, though. Here is a helpful article that describes the unit in more detail, and the alternate power options as well: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003802183-Ring-Spotlight-Cam-Information.

A:AnswerHello AnthonyZ,
Great question! Our Ring Protect Plans start at $3/month or $30/year per Ring device for the Basic Plan, and $10/month or $100/year for the Plus Plan, which includes unlimited camera and doorbell devices at one location. So for three cameras and one doorbell, the Basic Plan would cost $12 per month and the Plus Plan would cost $10 per month.
With a Ring Protect plan on your account, each live view, ding and motion event are stored in the cloud for up to 60 days (in the USA). The Plus Plan provides even more perks by adding an exclusive discount at Ring.com, extended warranties on all devices within warranty at one location, professional monitoring for the Ring Alarm, and more! If you would like to know more about what each of these plans have to offer, you can view this information on our website here: https://shop.ring.com/pages/protect-plans.

A:AnswerNo fee required but very limited on how long recording is available. There is a fee if you subscribe to ring.com plan. Then recording is available for 60 days. Read details of the plans and prices at ring.com
A:AnswerYup, it certainly does. You do have to download the app of course to get them. You can even control how frequently you get alerts as well as how wide of an area you want it to cover. You can also download the videos it makes when it detects motion. Also it should be noted that there is a subscription service that to be honest I am not sure if you truly need because I just did it when I got my first one. There is a basic plan that is foor one camera and gives u a yr warranty, and allows you to have access to the videos for 60 days. Now it also says included with the plan is the alerts, custom alerts, live videos on demand, being able to review, share, and save the videos, and then snapshot capture. Then the plus plan adds professional monitoring to it and discounts at ring.com. So I am not sure if you need the subscription to get all the alerts and stuff because as I said, I had had it since getting my first camera. You even then can use the neighbors app that will give you alerts about things that have happened within like a 5 mile radius of you. I really like it personally.
Hope that was not too much info for ya lol!!! Just figured you might like the 411 on it before buying.
A:AnswerIf you have the Protect Basic plan, you'd have to purchase a separate plan for each device. If you have (or upgrade to) the Project Plus plan, every Ring device at your location is covered for one monthly fee.
A:AnswerEach camera can be set up individually. Set up is through the app, is very easy to follow, and not dependent on both cameras being used in the same network.
A:AnswerI have 4 Ring spotcams with solar panels. I do not have a Ring Doorbell or Ring hub. You need a solar panel for each spotcam. I would say you would not need a hub from Ring or even a hub as mine work awesome. Best wireless camera on the market. Solar panel works great. Yay make sure it gets the right amount of sun. I buying 2 more but the range is awesome and so is clarity. I wouldn’t buy any other outdoor camera.
A:AnswerI believe you can have the spotlight cam without the ring doorbell camera. I don't see why you would be required to have the doorbell in order to use the other types of cameras, as each one works individually.
A:AnswerHi Joeed,
