“How far from the WIFI source will the wired or wifi camera still work properly I live in the country and only get satellite internet. Can be spotty even room to room”

We also installed an Amplify. Wifi extender. We have a signal all over the house inside and out.

I have cable internet & a mesh WiFi router that produces 5000 square feet of coverage so I have a great connection with all of my Ring Cameras. You mentioned that you have issues room to room so I would unfortunately say that you will have the same with the cameras. My suggestion is have a good router so all of your devices have a great WiFi signal & then you won’t have any issues with the Ring Spotlight Camera.
