    Asked by Sara.

    • Answer Hi Sara, With normal use, your Ring Video Doorbell’s battery will last between 6 to 12 months. The battery may deplete faster if your Ring is capturing a large amount of motion events every day. The Ring app will notify you when the battery is getting low. • QuestionWill it work on a iPad or Laptop or desktop? I have house whole secured WiFi. I don't use my Android at home. I have a line land.

    Asked by JCBB.

    • Answer Yes, definitely for an iPad; however, for laptop or desktop, it will depend upon your device processor system. If you have windows 10 or upgraded windows system which will allow you to download the "ring" app from apps store, you are good to go. It works like a regular apple app or android app. The features are in the "ring" app which help you to control the system.

  • QuestionDoes it ring like a doorbell does?

    Asked by Jojo.

    • Answer Hi Jojo, Thanks for reaching out. If you hardwire your Ring Video Doorbell to your pre- existing doorbell, your Ring device will sound as if it is your original chime. However, please do note that compatible doorbell transformers are 8-24 VAC, DC not compatible. If you go with the battery operated version, your Ring chime sound will only be heard through your Ring app. With that being said, we do have our Ring Chime. Ring Chime is a wireless notification device that can connect to all of your Ring devices. Simply plug it into a wall socket, connect it through the Ring app and you'll get Ring notifications anywhere in your home, even if you're not near your phone.
