You need to re-read the instructions for installing the Ring. It came with a small diode device that you need to use if your door bell isn't compatable with the ring as it comes in the box. You'll have to use that diode.

Please try again later.Check what kind of doorbell you have, manual or digital and make sure you set up correctly in app. Check wires and make sure they are properly seated on terminals and copper is not touching / shorting together. The app must be set up first in order for the Pro to be used as a doorbell. It will not work as a stand alone doorbell unless app is active
