Do you have to have WiFi at both ends for this to work on iPhone for example it I’m at our cabin in northern MI I have no WiFi just smart phone will I be notified on my smartphone when somebody rings my doorbell at home which I do have wifi null

As long as you have cell service the app should get notifications from your ring.

Yes, that’s the great part of having the video door bell. I’m notified when I’m away from home as well as being there. I love my doorbell.

Thanks for reaching out.

In order for your Ring device to function, it will need to be connected to your home WIFI network at all times. You should, however, be able to monitor your Ring device using your Mobile Data if you are unable to connect to WIFI.
