when they ring the bell, does the in house chime sound off too (since i had regular doorbell before i installed this in its place) or is it just in the phone? null

Inside door bell as well as phone notification if wired where old bell was installed

Hi Moe,

If your Ring doorbell is connected to an existing doorbell, it should ring inside your home. If not, we suggest purchasing a Ring Chime. When you connect Chime to  your Ring doorbell, you'll get Ring notifications anywhere in your home.

The inside door bell will ring also as long as you connected the wires during the install.
