I expect it will work with your system, if the current doorbell is wired to your door with low Voltage wire. The Ring doorbell will use this connection for Power and will also act as a switch to signal your current doorbell to ring like it did before. I did not have to change any hardware inside the house. Just remove the existing external doorbell button with the Ring and install the software app on your phone and follow the install information.

Yes, you should be able to keep your original doorbell chime with our Ring Video Doorbell 2, however, you must hardwire your Ring Video Doorbell 2 into your pre-existing doorbell.
