The doorbell is the greatest thing ever for home protection. You can view your entrance way from anywhere no matter the distance from your home. A chime sounds on hour phone whenever someone approaches our house. Simplest the greatest!!!!! I suggest the ring-doorbell 2. It has a pop out battery. Brian
