Why do we need a professional monitering system when we purchased the system, installed it, use our own systems to operate it plus the app. Seems to me the whole idea as advertised, was to not need a security service in order to have security at home. null

All Ring devices will operate without an additional fee or subscription. You will receive alerts when visitors press your doorbell or trigger motion sensors in your device. You will also get live streaming video and two-way audio. There is, however, a Ring Protect Plan available. Ring Protect will allow you to review, share, and save Ring videos.
