• I had a 25 year old system and it did not work with it. It would charger the battery and all the units would chime when the bell was press but would not stop. I disconnect the old system.

• Wilfra, it would be hard to give a definitive answer in this group without actually seeing the wiring. Kind of depends on how the old system was wired, if it used a A.C. transformer, if the wiring was looped or home run. Sorry I could not be of more help.

• There are Ring models that work with an existing hard wired doorbell. However, it would just use the existing power. Every ring unit comes with a camera, microphone, and speaker so you will be able to now see people in addition to being able to talk to them.
