Product comes with a diode to wire into existing doorbell to allow it to be used with existing wiring. Purchase of a transformer should not be necessary

No there is no additional accessories needed. It is so easy to connect to your existing door bell. You have to check the door bell in the house . The part that makes the noise and see if you have a digital door bell or an older door bell. They do supply a part in the contents of the ring doorbell if yours is digital . All you do is take your old doorbell button outside off and expose the two wires and connect them to the ring doorbell. The directions are very clear in how to install which I do recommend reading first before installing. If you have any problems you can contact ring themselves and they are very helpful! I highly recommend this product. Just beware of best buys 14 day return policy. You may want to purchase from someone else with a better return policy.
