Ani, I have that same issue, and it hasn't triggered the motion. Sometimes leaves will, depending on how close they are to the ring.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It should not. Our entrance is also east facing with bright morning light, and it has not set it off. You MIGHT get a really bright glare if you choose the Live View during the morning sunlight hours because the camera is sensitive.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are several options for motion settings, that may help w sunlight. Also you can always turn off motion settings which will drain your battery if your bell is not hard wired.
