Now it's only 40 difference, 1080 vs 720. Better battery and come with many mounting options

Some differences between our Ring Video Doorbell and our Ring Video Doorbell 2 are as follows: The Filed of View for our Ring Video Doorbell is 180 degrees horizontal whereas the Field of View for our Ring Video Doorbell 2 is 160 degrees horizontal, 90 degrees vertical. The Video Resolution for our Ring Video Doorbell is 720p HD and our Ring Video Doorbell 2 is 1080p HD. For more information please see our comparison chart.
