• Yes, but you should check with the apartment manager to see if they alloy them. You can use this Rung doorbell anywhere, with or without an existing doorbell.

Additionally, if you do not have any pre-existing wires, not a problem, we do have a battery powered Ring Video Doorbell. Our battery operated version requires no pre-existing doorbell.
