A:AnswerNo direct power source needed. Simply charge it when it needs it. The Ring app will let you know if it is low on power. I tend to charge mine on the weekends when I am at home. Just remember, the more sensitive to have the ring, the more power it will use.
A:AnswerHi Huynh,
The Ring Skill connects your Ring Video Doorbell 2, Video Doorbell Pro, Video Doorbell Elite and Floodlight Cam to your Echo Show, Echo Spot, Fire Tablets and Fire TV. It’s compatible with all generations of Fire TV, the second-generation Fire TV Stick, all Fire TV Edition Smart TVs and Fire Tablets Gen 7 and above. I hope this helps!

A:AnswerYes you can but every time you move in your LR it will send a notification. Ring has the "Stick Up" cam that's made just for this type of application.
There are cheaper products out there made just for this situation that run a geo fence and use your location to turn recording on and off.
Check out the Canary indoor camera, I have one and it works great.
A:AnswerThe dogs will set off the motion detection everything the dogs come in the cameras area of operation and you will get alerts of motion detected. The app keeps recording for a while if the dogs are detected. So it wont be multiple alerts at once. Easy fix to this is you can snooze the motion detection up to 2 hours so you won't get alerted everytime motion is detected. I do this when my kids are playing outside.
