• No, you don't have to have a doorbell, although you can wire it to an existing doorbell. The ring IS a doorbell and it is easier to set up without wiring it into an existing system. The ring doorbell rings to your phone and you can have more than one on an account...(front door, back door)...you may even opt for the ring security system, just check out the ring products. Every thing is so simple to use and makes you feel so safe!
