If you use your app, you can set the range of how much detection/motion your ring picks up and that should take care of that. Or... trim the bushes back a bit if what I suggested does not work because yes it will pick that up as motion but setting up a perimeter on the ring device will work. I had the same issue but when I pulled back the motion range a bit, it stopped completely. Hope this helps you out.

Hi Buzzy,

It's possible. You can always adjust the Motion Zones of your device. Motion Zones allow you to define a specific area that you want your Ring device to cover while ignoring everything outside that area. By drawing your Motion Zones to cover only areas you want the Ring device to monitor, you can effectively monitor the area you want as well as reduce the number of “false positive” motion alerts.
