I didn't have a doorbell when I installed it. Installation was easy I did it without a professional. You have to remove two screws to expose the charger. Therefore, I don't think it can sit on a charger while mounted on the door. I charged the Ring a month ago when I purchased it. According to the app it still has 89%. It's definitely worth the money...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No you can’t leave it plugged in. You just charge it with the usb plug it comes with. The battery last a good amount of time. Mine has been plugged in since May and still has a good amount of battery life left.
