Some Ring models are also battery powered. It’s rechargeable. The battery lasts a few months and then you take it off and charge it for a few hours. You can sync several different Ring devices together.

It can be hardwired to an existing doorbell system or transformer with 8–24 VAC, 40 VA max, and 50–60 Hz for continuous charging.
