You do not have the ability to use a chime box inside your home unless you wire the Ring to an existing doorbell. But the notifications on your phone are great in my opinion! A very distinct chime so you know it's Ring when you hear it.

Hi LG,

The Ring Video Doorbell connects to existing doorbell wiring or runs off the built-in rechargeable battery. You will still have access to Live View if your door his hardwired or runs off battery. If needed, you can purchase a Ring Chime for you home.
