The dogs will set off the motion detection everything the dogs come in the cameras area of operation and you will get alerts of motion detected. The app keeps recording for a while if the dogs are detected. So it wont be multiple alerts at once. Easy fix to this is you can snooze the motion detection up to 2 hours so you won't get alerted everytime motion is detected. I do this when my kids are playing outside.
