Is this battery charged or hardwired?? null

Mine is battery but you can hook it up to the electrical lines.

What I found is that if you use the existing Doorbell connections, it'll keep the doorbell powered all the time. But I chose to charge it overnight via usb and then used the existing lines. Works like a charm.
