“I have cable tv, but i don't pay for it. If you get internet from my provider, they cant shut off the basic channels. My question is, will this work with those channels that are not blocked and I don't pay for? I want the pause and record features.”

• This model is for over the air channels only. You would need to get another TIVO model to record from even basic cable.
