“Hi I need to be able to record tv shows in an RV that will be staying in many diff places and the parks supply cable. Would the free cable provided by the campgrounds be considered OTA broadcasts? All you do is hook up to their cable. Thanks”

No. The OTA TIVO box is for just that.. OTA...Over the air signals. Unless the park is giving you an antenna feed that is from a digital antenna, then you cant use the OTA box. You have to get the other Tivo boxes for cable feeds.

Also be aware that you'd need Internet access too, although it doesn't have to be always on. Tivos cache about two weeks of guide data, and it's possible to get one connected through a cell phone data connection. You could for example hook it up and manually update the guide data once a week, or something like that. (Point is it doesn't have to be connected constantly.)
