“I have been using my bluetooth device to connect my computer to my stereo. It has been working fine up until now. It says it's connected but it isn't working. i am not getting a signal to my stereo. Help!”

Did you tested your outputs ? Change the 3.5 mm wire to RCA wire and do the test again. Check your stereo volumen and setting you could press mute by mistake
