It would work but I would not recommend. If you are stud mounting get a mount that will allow you to center the mount and still get 4 lag bolts in the studs otherwise you will need to drill holes in tee mount or use 1/4 inch toggle bolts not recommended for a tv that size. If you want to move the tv you will probably have to level it again. Take a look at my review for what I ran into.
