A:AnswerThe mount is about 25" so it will not be strong enough against the wall because you won't be screwing it into a stud on each side. You will have to span your wall studs with, perhaps, a 2x4 first and then attach the mount to the 2x4s. This will cause the tv to be further from the wall when folded flat but would make for a secure mount.
